I've been "collecting" free software for ages, and now I think it's time to start sharing the fun. Here's a list of come of my favorite software that you can have for FREE!
Graphics
GIMP - Adobe Photoshop-like image editor
Sumo Paint - Online Photoshop-like image editor
Picnik - Online image editor
Pencil - Traditional 2D animation software
Inkscape - Adobe Illustrator-like vector editor
ColorPic - Color picker (i.e. "Gee, I want to use the color of her shirt" *uses ColorPic*)
Blender - 3D content creation
Desktop Apps
Freez Screen Video Capture - Take a video screenshot of anything you're doing
Handbrake - Converts DVD videos to computer formats
DVDVideoSoft - Converts pretty much anything, anywhere from YouTube to PSP to MP3.
Skype - Online phone and video calls
Plaxo - The ultimate online address book
Audio
Audacity - Incredible audio editor, plug-ins available
Juice - Organizes and captures your podcasts
EphPod - Similar to iTunes, but does more, including moving music from your iPod to a new computer!
WavePad - Audio editor (make sure you get the free version!)
Screamer Radio - Record internet radio in many different formats
Others
ADRIFT - Text/Interactive Fiction/Game generator
Xtranormal - Text to Movie software (online or download)
That's all for now. Have fun!

This site is pretty cool. It's a combined search engine from Google and Ask, but when you sign up, you get SwagBucks for the searches you do. You get the Bucks by searching at specific, predetermined times. Then you can exchange your Bucks for FREE prizes. It soulds like I'm just advertising and such, but there's no catch. Look it up on YouTube.
Here's a link to the site.
Here's my own referral link, if you want to be nice today. You get an extra Buck if you use this. And so do I =).
